Dubai 2027 FAQsBible Studies & Community GroupsPodcast & MediaPrayer Requests & StudiesLoyalty ProgramSpeaking Engagements
Do I have to be a Seventh-day Adventist to attend?
While our ministry is rooted in the Adventist heritage, we welcome all couples and singles seeking a Christ-centered experience and willing to respect the retreat's spiritual standards.
Why is the retreat limited to subscribed members?
You’re first in line because we want to serve our MCM community well. Membership helps us offer discounts of 20–30% and keeps the retreat aligned with our mission of “Blessed Assurance” and spiritual growth.
Is the flight included in the package price?
To allow flexibility for our international members, most packages are "Land Only." This means you book your own flight to Dubai (DXB), and we handle the luxury transport, lodging, and meals once you arrive.
I’m single—will I have to share a room?
We offer both "Single Occupancy" (private room) and "Double Occupancy" (shared with another single attendee) options. Sharing a room is a great way to save money and make a new friend!
If at any time you'd like to purchase your own room for privacy, you can do so. The room that you would purchase would need to be at the same hotel, and the cost would be the responsibility of the one making the purchase.
What should I pack for a trip to Dubai?
Dubai is a mix of high fashion and desert ruggedness. Pack modest, breathable "Eco-friendly" fabrics (like our MCM gear!), comfortable walking shoes for excursions, and one "Gala" outfit for our final night celebration.
What happens if you miss a payment deadline?
Your spot is tied to timely payments so we can keep your group rate secure. If a payment is late, the hotel or airline may release your reservation. If you’re having trouble meeting a deadline, let us know as soon as possible so we can help you stay on track.
Is the trip price "all-inclusive"?
Our group package covers hotel and scheduled tours. However, you should budget extra for "VAT" (5%), the "Tourism Dirham" fee (a small per-night hotel tax), and personal meals or shopping.
Do I need to exchange money before I arrive?
While most places in Dubai accept major credit cards and digital payments (Apple/Google Pay), it’s handy to have some UAE Dirhams (AED) for souks or small tips. You can easily withdraw AED at the airport or local ATMs upon arrival.
What is the dress code for our outings?
Dubai is cosmopolitan, but respect for local culture is key. In malls and public spaces, aim for "modest" attire (shoulders and knees covered). For beach clubs and hotel pools, standard swimwear is perfectly fine. If we visit a Mosque, full coverage (including a headscarf for women) will be required.
Will my phone work in Dubai?
Most US/UK providers offer international roaming, but it can be pricey. We recommend checking if your phone is "unlocked" so you can grab a local Tourist SIM card at the airport, or look into an eSIM (like Airalo) before we land.
Do you need a visa to travel to the UAE?
Many nationalities, including US, UK, and EU citizens, can receive a free visa on arrival. Please make sure your passport is valid for at least 6 months from your date of entry, or you may be denied boarding. If you do need a visa, use the button below for more information.
What if I want to skip a scheduled group activity?
This is your vacation! While we’d love for everyone to stick together, you are welcome to opt out of a scheduled tour. Just please note that pre-paid group activities are usually non-refundable. Just let the group lead know in advance so we aren't waiting for you!
We only ask that you do not skip out on the seminars, as they are critical to the educational portion of the trip
How will you receive updates during the retreat?
We’ll share retreat updates in a group chat for real-time announcements, meeting points, and photo sharing. Please make sure you have notifications turned on and check messages regularly so you stay informed.
Will alcohol be included in the retreat activities?
Your itinerary focuses on fellowship, sightseeing, and cultural discovery. To honor the Christian values of the group and keep the environment respectful for everyone, please refrain from alcohol during group activities and communal meals. Thank you for helping us keep the retreat uplifting for all participants.
